yep...defintely not a good day...
ok get up. go to school. my dad takes us to school because my mom yet has to drive ANOTHER person somewhere. its raining...and i have to bring my instrument to school...and my dad took me to school...in his PICKUP truck...therefore...it sat out there in the rain, and i was freaking out hoping that no water leaks through and gets my instrument or music wet. gah...then almost forgot to drop off my apush homework. when i got there, and left i realized i left it in my locker......agh.....almost late to class, i ran across campus, getting to religion class soaking wet and cold.
ok lets look at what happened today...ill try not to ruin it for you guys with depressing stupid stories...ok, whatever, my journal, my stories....
religion-finished antwone fisher. it was a good movie, but i started crying at this one part when the grandmother touched her grandson's face. it reminded me of my lola and how she used to do that to me to recognize my face. and how she alays remembered me out of all her grandchildren. and that month before she died. all those sad memories came back. watching someone that you love die in front of you like that was so hard to take in.
math-nothing. talked to sylvia about...something, lol. she knows...
lunch-ate in ms rausch's room. we're all going to winter formal and im driving! lol

band-sight reading...not that bad. i would write more, but i dont want to/feel like it. plus i dont remember, oddly enough.
physics-did another lab. victor didnt know alex was at school today, and we had a two minutes discussion about who was right...
afterschool-went to bandroom. hung out with josie and sam. jackie and i go on our changing date to make up for not wearing white tights. later josie and i went to chinese restaurant and had quality time together. walked back and tried not to get splashed by water...then got to band room and practiced a little bit before report time.
physics-did lab.
game-did some major sight reading. i cant play. i miss my trombone 1 parts that i had for football season... ...whatever fuck that too. ill always be second. ill never be better than second. thats the fuckin story of my life....always second never first. when i get older it will be "always a bridesmaid never a birde". i dont have the capability to do so...which is a bit true...i will always be subordinate...no one thinks i can do better than second. ya...thats whata been bugging me...ok, im letting go...watched the game...JV shoulda won...stephanie and i..ok mostly me, were screaming...which is NOT against CIF rules, alex told me so. its only during free throws. then game...played songs...thats the end of it. dont think im going to sign up for next weeks game...
so reflection on the day?
words hurt. a lot. many of us dont understand the consequences of our own actions. or what we say. we may think its funny, but it does hurts. and they may laugh to hide their true emotions...

(sp?). damnit, we were almost finished then the bell rang...
math-still dont get curve sketching...o well...then some limits thing that was super easy. sam still hasnt returned jasons graph paper. sylvia falls asleep in class, lol. kept studying for physics. mr gamble throws pens, but did not make it in, lol. maybe next time. then luuuunch....
lunch-i ate quesadillas...ok, nothing else was interesting
band-get into a discussion about cleaning instruments...laura asks how to clean a flute? then something about boiling a sax mouthpiece...not supposed to do that, lol. um ya...i dont really clean my instrument...only the mouthpiece. it looks like crap anyways hahahaha. played seasongs i thinkno wait! we did sightreading...ahhhhh! yet another song where the BARITONE IS IMPORTANT. I CANT READ MUSIC!! AHH!! whatever, got through it kinda...gah...lol...hmm ya, still havent found the first page to riversongs...studied more for physics...then jason crumpled my paper..."BOO YOU WHORE!"(jk) hahah mean girls was a funny movie.
physics-take quiz. easy shit. then do formal lab report. hmm thats it.
afterschool-went to woolery to go over my DBQ. got another point for good analysis. the band room for music library. ate cheese crackers......i cant spell cheezits? cheeseits? whatever...attempted to put away music by alex command.....yah, couldnt find ne of it...then we go into girly discussion about gynocologists (sp?) and douche bags and whatever...hahahhaah jessy on the phone: ::whose there?:: "well, sam, jackie, kindra, kristen, crystal, daniel, alex, and rommel...rommel is the only guy here" hahahahaha. more talk about sex? physicals, mammograms...why would a guy want a blow job? pee in mouth...hahaha, kinra and jessy tried bringing it up with tito. lol....interesting...
then to mall to eat with mama and gayle. saw steph aaron and laura. stephanie keeps playing with my hair...haha, oh btw, ya i got my hair cut, LoL. ne whoo, then dropped back off at school...i practiced songs then just sat around...
practice-warmups...gah, something went wrong, i had trouble hitting e flat and f...damn lips are useless!! hahaha...then did this thing from cats....still dont like sight reading. steph thinks im siding with the white side? ryan actually showed up today, but he slept through almost the whole rehearsal. then basket thing...woohoo baritones and trombones unite! hahahaha...we have a really cool basket...all thanks to jason =D. but i wont say what it is....it will be a surprise! woohoo!! hahahaha....vic is starting to like jason hahahahaha....jk. sam had a good idea..."we should auction off our section leaders" me: "wait, arent moms bidding on these things" sam "ya...theyre all pedifiles" hahahahhaahhaaha.....lol, steph and i thought of an asian basket...since most of us were asian hahahhahaahah. hmm then standard of st george......woohoo hit the a flat!!! yay!!!!! damnit...ok ya, next parade....at the MOST six people are playing that stupid low brass melody.......AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! oh well...maybe ill be out of town that weekend too, LoL.....

so today...went to the rose bowl game. twas very interesting...im sooo tired. but i took a nap, so im okay, but its 4 in the morning. gah. im altar serving. sheesh, im 17 and still altar serve. its otay tho. =) wild texans. especially when theyre drunk. steph and i got lots of tips...but ah! they took it for change! lol, one guy was gonna tip us 5 dollars, and his friend was pushing him to do so, but he said he has student loans...hahaha i just think he was drunk. then one guy asked for a receipt...then my number? how weird...he was probably another drunkie too. omg, i almost memorized that whole menu. cheesburger-5 hot dog 3.75 popcorn or fries 3.50 nachos 4.50 beer 6 or 7 soda 4 5 or 6. coffee or water 3. sheesh, its annoying when they say that the prices are ridiculous....WE KNOW THAT WE"RE MAKING MONEY OFF OF YOU BIATCH. ya, we know theyre stupid prices, ur not the first person whose told us that, smart ass. sheesh. gah...i smelled like beer. yuck. hahaha steph ..."cant u just our the beer?" so last year...my resolutions were....

FOCUS! FOCUS! FOCUS!
none of that ACTUALLY happened, thus proves the stagnant year i had. but does it really? NO. because these resolutions doesnt reflect how much ive changed in one year. how much everyone has. in those stupid surveys, i always says i havent changed much. i always say i havent change much. but reflecting on the events of this year, i guess i could say i am a different person. for the better of for the worse is up to u to decide. i find myself a bit more arrogant this year, and competitive. but ive also learned to really just be yourself, theres no other way to it. it really doesnt matter to me what everyone else sees me as, because i cant help who i am. thats just me. i guess you could say im a bit more open about things. i opened up way more than i used to. thinking back to elementary, half the things i say or do was defintely something i wouldnt have done back then. so alas, im growing up. ive learned to take in the good with the bad and all that crap.
"what is a friend? it is a single soul dwelling in two bodies"-aristotle. well, for me, that soul dwells in more than two bodies...never before have i been truly happy with who my friends are... i love them because they accepted me for who i was. i didnt have to pretend to like to this or act a certain way. i could cry in front of them, and they would try to make it better, not stare at me and let sit there. so, to my friends reading this, thanks.
ive also come to realize that high school is nearing a close. i have a year and half to make the most of my high school experience. have i done it so far? i dont know. all i know is that in this next year and a half, i have to make something of it. try new things, ease up a bit and not be so tense, and try to have some fun. once high school is over, thats it. its time to grow up and take responsibility for myself. can you believe by this time next year, i will be 18 and awaiting news from colleges? this exact day last year, i had just gotten my permit and now im just a month away from driving people around. its crazy how time flies.
so, ends this lovely journal entry, and hope everyone has a great new years eve!

haha, ok christmas? well...as the family continues to grow larger and more wonderful due to immigration and marriage, (hahah sounds like a text book definition), we have decided to do gift exchange...lol itsfunny cuz all the aunts are like "im tired of this this this, ano, gifts buying" hahha, ok maybe its only funny if you were there, lol. so all this aunties are off the hook next with present buying...LoL...yayuh, but th kids still get their presents...=D the grandchildren get their own presents until they bring a boyfriend/girlfriend to christmas...once that happens, you are an adult...HAHAHHA! once that happens, u start getting and giving presents as a couple, hahhahahah! lol, ok, maybe thats just a funny bacleon family thing...hahha, u guys coulda skipped this paragraph....except for kris, this makes sense to her...hahah santa clause came to visit! hahaha.......actually it was kuya alex...hahah "santa lost some weight! he was on the atkins diet..." lol...hahawe took a big group picture, and then they called out "hey dave! come here! you need even out the picture" dave is white...haha, he needed to balance out tita baby's husband...hahahah my auntie lisa....shes so funny....she got chocolates from someone, but she didnt see the tag, but the chocolates were from Harry and David, so she was like "oh, from harry and david...thats nice thank you thank you" and my cousin was like "who is harry and david?" hahaha......then it hit them...it was pretty funny, Lol.
my mom and dad went to vegas this morning, so this weekend is the weekend to spend with cousins. today, were staying with roy and lani, then tomorrow its SIX FLAGS BIATCHES! woohoo!

so today, my cousins roy and laarni came over. roy was hungry, so we pile into the pick up and he drove...what a crazy driver...hahaha...btw i got to drive earlier to walgreens!! woohoo!! ok,ya back to their visit. ll, then my ate laarni, ordered something froma an infomerical. it was so funny she was like "hey thats cool!...i think ill buy one" then she takes out her cell and credit card and ordered two. lol...im starting to like my cousins now...i really think were repairing hurt feelings and we're going to be cousins again. our relationships are healing and getting better. i wish i could say the same for others.
mr combes called and wants to see the "damage" of the horn...oh dear...
ok, so mommy comes home...we go to the mall and exchangeroo some stuff, then went to church for confession. i like confession. its a very relieving process and good counseling too. its nice and reassuring that God is there to accept you for who you are and is there to forgive you no matter what you do. thank you God.

lately, sleeping is just another thing to do.
its been kinda confusing lately. and im kinda like "didnt this already happen? why is this going around in a circle?"
but whatever...i tell myself one thing and do another. damn hypocite. so ya, now i just lay in bed and thinking about life. and ya...i shouldnt be allowed to think on my own... because im an irrational thinker...
ok so yesterday, i went to the mall. i spent the most id ever spent on an entire outfit at one time...wow...haha...then i bought a sweatshirt for 17 dollars, so that made me happy. ooh i saw PIA! at the mall. haha, she was hocking/hacking sausages at hickory farm. lol..
i was trying to see how long it would take before id crack and update...hahaha more than 24 hours!! yayuh!! hhaha....
oh and the coffee thing? its very funny to read your answers...cuz what you write describes your sex life...haha, i wrote 'smells good' hahaha.................ewww..... |

you know you've been in band too long....
1. When you hear music and start marking time.
2. When you walk in step with the person in front of you.
3. When you try to guess the tempo of your favorite song.
4. When all of your friends are in band.
5. When you don't mind changing clothes on the bus.
6. When you point out key changes and dynamics while listening to the radio.
7. When you like wearing your uniform. hey...it looks cool...
8. When every guy/girl you're interested in is in the band.
9. When people ask you about your social life and you say, "Oh, you mean my flute/trumpet/drum/etc.?"
10. When you consider your drill book a fashion accessory.
11. When you've had a "trombone-ectomy." ...wtf is that?
12. When you practice your instrument more than you talk to your dog.
13. When being mauled by a drum is a normal part of life.
14. When people worry when they see you without your instrument.
15. When "armed guard" means a girl with a pole instead of a guy with a gun. 16. When band camp is FUN.
17. When you respond to "band kid." ...or band dork/nerd
18. When someone says the word "box" and you automatically put your head up.
19. When you remember flats and sharps more easily than your name.
20. When you dress the lunch line and urge others to do the same...dude, im not that weird....
21. When you're alone and you suffocate because there's no one telling you to breathe. ...still....not that weird...
22. When slides feel normal.
23. When your instrument has a name.
24. When you remember your instrument's birthday and forget your mom's...actually i remember the first day i got my instrument...it was december 12 i think...
25. When making a line is your biggest accomplishment of the day.
26. When marching backwards no longer reminds you of ballet.
27. When you give your instrument a birthday party....ok, now thats stupid
28. When you can make brown shoes look white.
29. When your uniform fits.
30. When black feathers become a fashion "do."
31. When you see your section more than you see your family. well technically...i see anyone at school more than i see my family...
32. When everyone wants to kill the other football team...and you want to kill the other band.
33. When you think evening practices should last a half-hour longer.
34. When you accidentally call you band director "Dad."(That's 4 U Mr. D.!!)
35. When you CAN sight-read....hahah sight read...
36. When you can put your uniform on in less than 10 minutes. ya, but im just too lazy so it takes longer
37. When reeds taste good...er, mouthpiece is nasty...
38. When you think your plume is alive...nah its definetely dead....

40. When you have a neck strap/harness tan line.
41. When you subconsciously start practicing with a pencil.

48. When you root for the other football team to lessen the time of your season.
49. When you know everybody else's personal business.
50. When you've practiced so long, the color guard is together.

52. When you don't try to hide the fact that you're in band.
53. When you subconsciously start humming your music.
54. When you know not only your own part, but everyone else's too.
55. When you eat lunch with all of the other band people.
56. When you start to eat lunch in the band room.
57. When you can tell who's in the bathroom by looking at their sneakers under the stall.
58. When you resort to humming your band music to fall asleep.
59. When wide open spaces stir up and urge to march your show.
60. When you have a pin from every competition you've been to.
61. When you friends that aren't in marching band create a group called "non-marchers." actually...theyre called non-bandos...
62. When you have 2 instruments junky one
for marching band and a good one for concert band.
63. When dreams of marching are constantly in your head. it was ONCE okay....
64. When you can't go to the movies on weekends with your friends.
65. When you don't see your parents on the weekends.
66. When your free time is spent on homework.
67. When the drummers actually start to make sense.
68. When you wear your band shirt in public.
69. When you have your friends call you to attention before you walk anywhere.
70. When your furniture is dented from banging drumsticks on it.
71. When you remember friends by chair number instead of name.
72. When you don't remember your boy/girlfriend's birthday, but you remember everything from your opener from your sophmore year.
73. When every time you drive by somewhere, you remember a band competition.
74. When you remember the number of every pizza place around a competition.
75. When you can make this list longer.
76. When you get the jokes on this list.
actually i can...
-my whole family can sing my part of the march...
-when you describe someone, you refer to what instrument they play...
haha....have fun...
and to think ive only been in band for less than 6 months....how much more for those who have been there longer?! lol......=D
